17 of 19 people found the following review helpful  No good for kneading bread, October 7, 2012 This review is from: Hamilton Beach HB 6 speed stand mixer (63325) (Kitchen) While I won't go so far as to say this mixer is a piece of junk, it certainly isn't top of the line either. It seems to do fine with cake batter and cookie dough (I wouldn't try mixing a double recipe, however), but it is totally worhless in kneading bread dough. The internal workings grind, the entire unit shakes, the freaking bowl pulls out of the plastic bottom - and this is with dough for a single, 1-pound loaf! I really don't know why they include a dough hook with the unit, because it's useless for that purpose. I guess I'll go back to my original plan of buying a Kitchenaid... And its easier and quicker rather than using a hand blender. The quality is really good and its easy to use. My husband loves it!!!
